1. Using the platform
By creating an account you agree to these terms and our Privacy Policy. You must be 13 or older. Provide accurate information and keep your password safe; you are responsible for activity on your account.
2. Community standards
Speak "the truth in love" (Ephesians 4:15). Do not post hateful, sexual, violent, fraudulent or misleading content, harass others, spam, or impersonate church leaders or bodies. Anything that sexualises or endangers a child is forbidden and is reported to the authorities (see our child safety standards). You can report any post, comment, listing, profile or chat, and block any member. Moderators review reports, remove content and suspend accounts that break these standards; objectionable content reported to us is acted on within 24 hours.
3. Giving and payments
Tithes, offerings and other local church funds are given directly into the account your church publishes. Association, conference and Convention dues, levies, forms and events are paid through Safe Haven (bank transfer, sent on to the official account straight away) or Flutterwave (card, sent on after the card settlement period). Where a payment is shared between tiers, the shares shown before you pay are applied automatically. Every payment has a receipt.
4. Wallet
The wallet pays for airtime, data, bills and marketplace orders. Failed purchases are refunded to your wallet. Wallet balances are not interest-bearing and are not bank deposits. Sellers may withdraw money they have earned from sales to their own bank account.
5. Coins, Premium and digital purchases
Coins are a virtual currency for digital features: unlocking music, e-books, profile boosts, super requests and Premium plans. In the mobile app coins are bought only through Google Play or the App Store and are one-time (consumable) purchases. Coins have no cash value, cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for money, and are not refundable except where the law or the store's own refund policy requires. Premium plans (weekly, monthly or yearly, at the prices shown) are prepaid and do not renew automatically; time from a new plan is added after any time you already have. Bonus points from optional rewarded videos have no cash value.
6. Marketplace and escrow
Listings must be lawful, honest and appropriate for a Christian community. FaceChrist is not a party to sales between members and does not guarantee goods or services. When you pay an invoice with escrow, we hold the payment until you confirm delivery (or the confirmation period ends) and then release it to the seller, less the escrow fee shown. If there is a problem, open a dispute before confirming; an administrator decides disputes using the chat and order records.
7. Fellowship & Connection
This optional module is for adults (18+) seeking friendship, mentorship, counselling or marriage-minded connection. Keep conversations respectful and chaste; report any abuse. Never send money to someone you have only met online. Fellowship Plus, boosts and super requests are paid with coins and do not guarantee any match.
8. Music, books and uploads
You must own the rights to anything you upload. Buying or unlocking music or an e-book gives you a personal, non-transferable licence for private use; paid tracks stream in the app and on the website and cannot be downloaded, free tracks may be downloaded. Artists and publishers receive the revenue share shown in their portal.
9. Church officers
Officers given roles by a church, association, conference or the Convention must use members' information only for that body's ministry, keep it confidential and follow the Privacy Policy.
10. Liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses arising from use of the platform.
11. Ending your account
You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
12. Changes
We may update these terms and will notify members of significant changes in the app.
