Meaning of baptism

Presentation of candidates
Candidates are presented by the church clerk after examination and approval by the church.
Profession of faith
Pastor: "Do you confess Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour?"
Candidate: "I do."
Baptism
"Upon your profession of faith in the Lord Jesus Christ, and in obedience to His command, I baptise you, my brother (sister), in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. Amen."
Welcome into fellowship
The newly baptised are welcomed with the right hand of fellowship.
